Artist`s Statement
This evokes memories of the Home Front in wartime britain against a London skyline. The foreground group is dominated by a radio of the period, the inevitable Union Jack and a 303 bolt action rifle of the sort used by the
Home Guard. Also featured in the foreground are a box of woodbines and the essential cup of tea, amongst printed material of the day. The middle distance shows typical vehicles and the all too familiar posters.
