Artist`s Statement
This is the sort of portrait that I call a “composite” because of the numerous small images and references that surround the main subject. I very much enjoyed working on this piece, showing an old friend sitting with his two small grandsons. The picture was carried out for a birthday gift, and includes some of Geoff`s history and interests, including reference to his RAF days, and his love of Art and gardening.
