Artist`s Statement;
This was particularly enjoyable to do, as the hair gave an opportunity to use lines in a number of layers. There is always a danger of “overworking” a piece like this, until it looks heavy and laboured; it is best I think, to leave it looking fresh and lively. This also was included in one of the Hexagon exhibitions, and I was delighted to receive a note from Jenny wishing me luck with the show.
