Artist`s Statement
I produced two paintings for a “Blue Plaque” event in Les`honour, which took place at Lytham St. Annes (Les Dawson`s home).
This one was done purely in the spirit of fun, because the other was rather formal. Here, Les is in his “Ada” guise, as he appeared with
Roy Barraclough in many hilarious sketches.
