This series of panels was painted to be mounted at the top of two small appartment blocks that were completed in 2006, on the Birmingham New Road, not far from the Ring Road. Each panel has its own theme (Wolverhampton`s history etc.) but the two sets of seven panels are designed to visually link up. Many aspects of the City`s past are referred to, including lockmaking, japanning, mining and brewing.
